Hi Everyone!
It's hard to believe Thanksgiving break is 1 week away! On Monday, we had a great time at Celebration of Learning. It was exciting to be able to walk the bases. On Wednesday, we learned a new song called Kids Count at the assembly and how to be respectful of personal space. Don't forget to wear your western wear on Tuesday!
Curriculum Focus:
Reading-Inferencing: schema (background knowledge) + clues (from the story)
Writing-Adjectives: I quickly ran up the steep hill.
Spelling-fit, hit, spit, skin, win, tin, and, see, to, you
Challenge Words-split, winning, east, difference, observe
Math-3D shapes: sphere, cylinder, cone, pyramid, rectangular prism, cube
Math Homework-Unit 2, pages, 1, 2, 12, 13; and a page with shapes will be coming home on Monday
Science-The Moon: full, quarter, crescent
